This small original painting is part of the series of ‘Storybook’ sketches created at the close of 2025.
Working on such a small scale, ‘sketching’ on little panels of distressed aluminium, allows me a moment to play with fresh ideas, developing blossoming thought’s on new imagery and techniques.
The nostalgic ‘Storybook’ series are based on favourite characters from mine and then my daughter’s childhood books.
