YumYum is one of my most loved and collected images and each time I return to her she is an absolute joy to create anew! ‘Pursuing Pleasure’ is my latest version, lovingly created during the winter months yet evoking memories of glorious summer days with an abundance of blossoming blooms.

This large scale work of art really was a ‘pure pleasure’ to paint in my studio here, in the sexy South of France. I have overlaid layer upon layer of floral imagery and pattern, in glorious colour and texture portraying a profusion of Mediterranean blooms: almond blossom, plumbago, oleander, diamond dust daisies and a cheeky ‘tinker bell’ sprinkling sparkles and magic bringing the whole piece to life.
